A special costume

Jack is 3 and a half. During his "naptime" where is required to stay in his room, he likes to amuse himself by getting into new outfits.

Today I opened his door and found him in green and red striped Christmas pj pants, penny loafers and a plastic diaper cover pulled over his pj pants.

He said, "Mommy, I'm a ballerina!"

Then he found a red clown nose.

"Mommy, I am a CLOWN ballerina."

I keep thinking that he needs to start dressing himself in the mornings - it certainly would be easier on me - but after this I may wait awhile.
