Jack's 4th Birthday

Now that Jack is a "boy, not a baby" as he loves to tell me-he was VERY excited about his birthday. For several months prior to the big day, we had to keep lists of potential presents, look at pictures of birthday cakes, discuss fun things to do on birthdays, etc, etc.
He had an all day birthday extravaganza.
The first party was at school. They have a special ceremony they do on birthdays at his school. He took pictures of himself from each year of his life. The children sit in a circle while Jack walks around showing each picture. There was a globe in the middle and the travel around the circle represents each year that has passed. Then they had yellow cookies with a giant 4 on them.
The second party consisted of Daddy coming and putting together the "Better Batter Baseball" set which is a automatic baseball set up system. It was the most requested birthday item. They also jumped on the giant Spongebob and opened presents.
After naps, the big party happened. Lots of cousins, including baby Thomas all the way from Newnan, came over and enjoyed the giant Spongebob jumpy and monster truck ice cream cake. We had pizza and opened presents too. Everyone jumped on the Spongebob until the guys came to tear it down at 7pm. Needless to say, neither Jack nor Charlie went to school the next day. They were bushed.
