Ski Trip

Jack, Charlie, Mommy, Grandfather and Grandmother went to Colorado the second week of February. We stayed in Frisco and skiied at Copper Moutain. Jack went last year, so he was a old hand and told Charlie what to do when we went through the airport.

The kids had a great time in Colorado. They both went to ski school 2 days. Jack can get on and off the magic carpet and can turn and stop with an edgie wedgie on his skis. Charlie can take put his skis on, hop and ride the magic carpet. I promised Jack that if he did well we would go on the “big lift” (at the bunny slope). We went on it today and he got on and off perfectly – but then decided he didn’t want to ski the rest of the way down the mountain. We had to hike back up to the lift and they called ski patrol. We got to ride the snowmobile back to the warming house. He thought it was all awesome. He waved to everyone as we sped past on the snowmobile. The ski patrol guy was very nice and took a picture of us on the snowmobile.

Ski school aside, their favorite activity has been playing on the GIANT piled up snow in front of the condo. The amount of snow here is unreal.

We have also gone to the indoor swimming pools at Silverthorne and the new one at Breckenridge. They are both really fun and have slides inside.
